I am The Tortoise

I am not sure if I can succeed at anything, until I've succeeded at it.

Isn't life that way for most of us? Some people KNOW they can do something, they BELIEVE it will happen. Then there are the rest of us.

I am not the hare. I am the tortoise.

I have one thing inside me that is stronger than my doubt that I can succeed. That is my stubbornness and my refusal to believe that I can't do something that other people before me have done.

This is my commitment to myself and to my family.

I have had doubters around me at various times in my life. Those have included friends and family. I have always proven them wrong. The power of stubborn.

This is how I live. This is what I do. I commit to spending a certain amount of time every day pursuing my goals. I don't have a lot of time, but I will work every day.

Every day I practice my instrument, I exercise, I run my physical business, I spend time with my wife, kids and pets. Every day lately I spend at least a little time on WA.

Life isn't about being a weekend warrior.

It's about being the tortoise.

What can the average man or woman achieve one small step at a time? Well, we shall see.

You nailed it Tristan! That is exactly the right kind of attitude. We all should be the tortoise.

That deceptively simple children's fable is actually a profound mystical teaching couched in language and in a story format so that anyone might grasp its truth. And you have!

It was written by a man who may have been a slave in his life, but many don't know that in truth he was a great awakened mystic. He

You just keep plugging away CONSISTENTLY, and for a time it will seem as if NOTHING is happening. This is just the time where you are building up the power and energy and light in the aura to bring your vision into manifestation.

Hold the vision, do the work, and when the time is right, things will start happening so fast it will be like Jim Carey said, "I worked real hard for 15 years to be an "overnight success" LOL!

Your family is very blessed to have you leading their household with your example.

Welcome & keep going!

Respectfully,
Desa

Thank you so much!

*** "one small step .... ? ... didn't Neil Armstrong say something to that effect ==>> one small step for man, and one giant leap for humankind ? .... keep being inspired and being a tortoise is quite alright -- in the end, the tortoise made it first ...

keep well, keep happy, all the best, cheerio ... :)

You understand what I'm saying!! :)

.... yes Sir Tristan! ...

... and actually, i've blogged about it so here it is for your reading delight as my sharing to day ....

.... hope you'll enjoy it! ... :)

message # 2 .... actually this was my WA blog that i meant to send u ...

enjoy it !

Well dang, Keisha! You beat me to it, didn't you? Your tortoise got a head start on mine.

*** it's all relative as they say ... 'my dear watson' ... or something to that effect ... that's what it felt like when i first started with WA sometime 'last century' (just kiddin') last summer ... and frankly the only one in this contest is oneself ! ... no one else ! ...

i've learned that it's all virtual and everything is 'optional' ... it's all what we choose and what we choose to create or do or decide or act upon ... it's up to us ' Tumm est' ....

enjoy the amazing WA journey -- cheerio ... 😊⭐️🎈 ***

OMG I dunno how to start and why I am here...

*** suggest you might want to get rollin' on your training here at WA ... Lesson 1 with Kyle: all the best ... :)
