FOCUS - That is what I need!
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would write a blog about how I am settling into my new 'e' environment! I have been busy immersing myself in the training and with the community and also updating content on my site. I have just published my 4th blog of 1k + words and just about to settle into my next piece of training on Level 3 of the OEC.
I have noticed that you can easily get carried away and engrossed in the WA site content and whilst this is not necessarily a bad thing, for me it can take me away from my objective of learning, creating and engaging. A couple of occasions I sat down intending to crack on with the training, then something on the WA site took my attention and before I knew it an hour had just flown by!
So now, the word of the day is 'FOCUS'. I will focus on what I need to do and manage my day accordingly. As like many on the platform, I am in full time employment . (6 day week) and so I need to use my private time wisely dividing it into sections.
What I have decided to do daily is to:
1. Welcome new preimum members
2. Add some new friends
3. Offer help (where I can)
4. Comment on some posts
5. Comment on some newly published pages
6. Complete some training.
I am hoping this will provide some structure to my development and will ensure that I hit all the points I need to at this stage. No doubt they will change, have additions and the likes but at least for the time being it is a plan lol.....
How do you divide your day?
Best wishes

Thanks for reading it Michael, yes it is and I am possibly guilty of not having used that approach previously when trying to promote something online.
Have a great day!

Wow, this is an inspiration! I too have found that I get carried away, not so much with this platform yet, but with other tasks and before you know it, the time has flown right out the window!
What I feel my problem is, I'm taking on way too many things at once and finding that my time is limited and stretched quite thin. Surprising for me as I'm also ex-military. Served 12 years in the Navy. Discipline and focus were always key and front of mind. In the years since though, it has slightly gone downhill. Need to get myself disciplined again and focus on what needs to be done!
Thanks for the follow and congrats on how far you have come in such a short amount of time. Impressive!
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to learning more as I go along.
Cheers,
Todd
Thanks Todd and all the very best to you. Thank you for reading and commenting.
