Scam?
In a literal sense a scam is basically an instance of paying for something and then not receiving what you payed for. We all think we've been scammed a bunch or that there's a ton of scams out there. Truth be told I can find the 90% of the information here at WA all over the internet a lot of it in those so called scams.
The real difference is the marketing. WA doesn't market itself with promises of making easy money like some do. You'll find similar information in many programs but they'll tell you that you'll make endless amounts of money hiding the fact that it's hard work and to really make the numbers that they advertise you need a bit of luck as well.
The point of this post is to really look at what you have here at WA. You have a wealth of information, but you can get that by doing Google searches all day. What you really have is a community that can guide you through the process and uplift you when you need that extra nudge. This is something that you don't find in the average internet marketing product. I won't go into the details because you all know them already (Worpress Express, Wabinars, etc..) but the real advantage for me is the community aspect. Why do you think forums were so popular this past decade?

Agree completely. the community here is exceptional. the amount of information I have learned here through one on one help is 2nd to none. Everyone is willing to help when one needs it, and the best part is both SA and WA are white hat all the way.
I also like what you have to say I have joined WA just the other day, and I have created a few websites but need direction on how things work out there.
It is good to advise others about known scams that is how I got to believe in WA I was investigating a certain Marketing company which promised a highway of riches for a little effort, and I was advised by one of your associates that it was a major scam.
He even explained how the scam worked. Yet he was not trying to sell me something , the advice was free, now I see that you need to build trust before you can do business
Agreed. As a newb, who has spent considerable amounts of money and time over the last few years on all those other programs, while it may be true that you can find 90 percent of the same info. elsewhere that you have here, what you won't find are those quick answers to those little golden nugget questions that come up so often not just for newbs but I have witnessed some of you more experienced IM'ers ask questions and get answers from time to time, which of course benefits us all, if you are following chats, live wabinars, and basically joining in the conversations. The manner in which information is disseminated here is what puts WA heads and shoulders above the rest. Could you imagine if Harvard or Yale or any institution of higher learning had their current enrollment in one classroom, freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, post graduate students all in the same classroom learning at the same time. That's the difference here for me. And because of WA I have been able to calm down and control my moments of weakness to jump on board every over hyped gravy train that rolls into the station. When I get emails like that now, I can recognize them quicker w/out having to read them, so I just say "no thanks, got all I need now" and I delete.
Sielke, I absolutely agree with you. I looked at many other options prior to joining WA and the differences which you have identified swung it for me. The proof for me is that I am now benefitting immensely from this choice at no additional cost in terms of money or perhaps as importantly time "wasted" in looking at other sites, (which actually has a cost in potential earnings terms).

I couldn't agree more, WA for me is all about the community. Not only the networking aspect but as you mention the support and friendships gained. I've said from virtually day one that the live chat alone is worth the membership fee.
Whilst the info is pretty much all over the web, one thing I have learnt from IM is that people will pay to have that information in one place, even if it is free elsewhere, and why not.
Having the info at your fingertips, in laymans terms, rather than spending hours finding an up to date guide via Google is invaluable.
Add to that the wealth of training and features and you have an awesome package.
