One Step Back, Two Steps Forward

Today I want to speak about the concept of taking one step back which ultimately leads you to taking two steps forward. Now it's a very common saying, especially when it comes to work towards your dreams and becoming successful.

How many times have you felt like you are moving forward, then all of a sudden something drastic happens and you feel you have gone backwards? I am sure many of us feel this way.

If there is one thing I feel is common on the path towards a vision or desire we really wish to manifest, don't be surprised to see some setbacks. I have learnt these very setbacks are actually for our benefit, making us propel towards our goals even faster. It might sound ironic, but sometimes we need to get hit hard in order to start pushing forward more.

If you are working on a business, a project, or something that is of great significance to your life or career then I would urge you to expect some setbacks or something that holds you going forward. Provided the setback is temporary, all should return to normal business once you remember what you are driving to achieve.

Go look at the movement of a share price...you will notice for a share that moves in an upward trend, there are few moments it moves back a little, yet the share keeps moving up in time. This is how we should view our process when it comes to moving backwards and forwards, be it in a business, a project, or our life in general!
