Page 1 on Google in less than a day!
I know all you veterans of WA are thinking, there is another one that made page 1 on Google and is all excited, blah, blah, blah. We (veterans) are always on page 1 it's no big deal. Not knocking you guys, but I read your posts about ranking and I have posts from months ago that Google hasn't even indexed, though I have done all that has been recommended. It is frustrating.
I saw an article that pertained to my niche and I saw a similar article the next day. It was something I wanted to address, but I was already working on a post. However, I thought the information needed to be passed along as it was something that could be detrimental to my dog and other dogs. I did a quick keyword search using Jaaxy and found a keyword with a QSR of 2 and a search of 144. I thought I should be able to rank with that in a week or so, maybe.
So I quickly wrote the post last night.
Today, I remembered I needed to add my keyword to my tracked rankings and discovered I was already on page 1, position 6. It hadn't even been 24 hours!
I am following Jay's and Bo's training and although the traffic isn't coming yet, I got the first tough part done, getting ranked. If you aren't up there, no one will see you. I realize it may not stay up there for long, but it is just the boost I need. A little encouragement can go a long way.
As they say, follow the training. It works.
Quick question. Is there a way in the tracked rankings to see what the changes are without clicking on each keyword? I have mine set to automatically track, twice a week, but I never see it change without selecting each keyword. Once I have a lot of keywords, that isn't going to be practical. Am I missing something?
Update: I didn't get a response to my question, but I contacted support. Apparently, there is an issue with Jaaxy. My rankings don't update and the rankings don't appear in the site rank unless I select each keyword and select each search engine.

I have been indexed by Google 3 times since I started last year July it's really exciting, I agree With you, you need to celebrate achievements, no matter how small, so Congratulations to you.

Thanks! Now if I can just figure out why the other posts haven't even been indexed after months I might know what I'm doing. I'm sure it will come up in training sometime soon.

WOW that happened very fast! I am still trying to even show up on the first 10 results page on google. Still don't see my site
It did happen fast, but it doesn't do it all the time unfortunately. My first posts haven't been indexed yet and I am going to look into those.
Have you checked that you are using keywords with a QSR under 200 and an avg greater than 50? I search for a QSR under 100 or even less if I can get it.
I didn't see your website listed under your profile, so I couldn't check on it. Is your site new? It takes several months to start showing up on google's radar.
Test if your site has been indexed by searching for its exact URL or domain name with no other words (ex: http://www.yourdomain.com). If not, here is an article I found that I may help. It seems to be a different way of doing it, but if it works. Quick Fix to Why is My site not Indexed in Google .
