INSIDE HURTS
There's obviously no evidence
by a dressing or a wrap.
Not even a small little bandaid
or limbs held up by a strap.
You see no scars or wounds
that show some sign of pain.
There's not even an expression
on her face
that says I hurt again.
So look you must past skin and flesh
past organs and the bones.
Go straight to the heart look deep within
the place called Jesus' home.
You'll find many hurts
that's been living there
for quite a long, long time.
And although not very easy to see
with time can mess with your mind.
But Jesus loves you so very much
He wants to set you free.
From all that junk, that's been stored up
that the devil wants you to keep.
Just let Him have His way with you
You'll see what all He can do.
Rejoice you will, because you'll feel
set free and so brand new.
