A Little Celebration After 2 Years

Time flys when your having fun, well most of the time anyhow. I recently had my second annivery with WA and to think back I dont really know where the time went but 2 years forward and Im still here.

I have worked hard on my site spending many hours building my online presence from nothing, with no experiience about the online world at all to now having over 250 posts on my site, all have between 1500 and 5500 words,.

I must say a lot of these posts do not do any good, my writing was ok to start with but keyword research was a hard part of content writing for me to understand.

A lot of keywords I used were just not going to cut it, and it took me quite a while to get my head around keyword research. How to find and how to write keywords that generate traffic and rank.are one of the keys to success in content marketing.

I have read often that to achieve something, just find someone that has what you want and do what they done to get it. I always thought I could make this work, what with so many people here on WA to follow it's not hard to find plenty of success stories here on this platform.

People that obviously make a lot of money because they took the time to work hard, persevere and create success for themselves.

I have been told not to look at search console too often and not to constantly be checking my numbers and looking for results because it's a bit like watching grass grow, it seems to take forever.

But I cant help myself, every morning I wake and the first task for the day is to check search console and analytics to see how my visitor numbers are going.

Seeing the graft going sideways for a period of time while your putting in the effort is very frustrating and I understand why people dont check their results often, but when it starts to move in an upward direction it's exciting and you start to see the results slowly improve in all area's.

The growth of my affiliate site has been very slow when compared to some of the stars here at WA, but, some recent activity has seen some good improvement in numbers and sales and In March I hit 100 organic visitors in a single day for the first time and I am making sales on most days now.

So 2 years in the making to get to 100 daily organic visitors purely from content with SEO learned right here at WA. It will be interesting and exciting to see what the numbers look like in another 2 years.
