please my privacy policy page is in the footer but still in the menu as a page. How can remove it? Again ads appear the privacy policy, how could i remove them?

Log into your site’s dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Menus. You can then select whichever menu and remove the entry you don’t want.

As for the ads, how are they placed now? I’m assuming you just pasted the AdSense code and allowed it to pick and choose where ads go. I recommend the Ad Inserter plugin for ad placement control and they have a great how-to for using it with AdSense.

thanks for the response. i published the pp again and the ads still appear. at the edit pp page the attached shows ad inserter options.

Is the auto code for AdSense still in the header file? There was a code you could put into your header I think it was that would allow AdSense to insert ads as it saw fit. That code is site wide. If you’re using that code, remove it.

Hello, thanks very much. I have attached what i see on my home page so that i may know exactly what code i should remove. Thank your kind assistance

It looks like you still have the auto AdSense code on your site. Did you add a line to your header from AdSense?

It has been sometime back and i cannot recall exactly. I think i followed a training here to insert the codes. pls, i am sorry to bother you. How do i remove these codes so that my posts do have some decency?

Usually it's added in the header file...do you have a plugin that allows you to enter header and footer information? Check there. If not, maybe you edited your header file manually. If so, head into Appearance > Editor and check your header file for the line.

Seth,
I am not exactly sure what you have done here or what theme
you are using - might I suggest you delete the Privacy Policy
and start over with a new one - Use the template from the
Site Contents and then publish to the WP this is always the
best way to do this. Once you have it published you can
then add it to the top or bottom menu and there should be
no ads on it then.
Susan

Thank you Susan. I'll try your suggestion.

Hi Seth,
The PP may appear on your footer by either (1) the theme configuration (check under customization) or (2) widget (check your footer widget.

If your theme allow option to disable ads on pages, go to edit the PP page and see if there is option to disable ads on the page.
A more handy plugin called Ads Inserter should let you have more control on your ads placements.

Joe

thanks so much Joe for the response. i published the pp again and the ads still appear. at the edit pp page the attached shows ad inserter options.

Do you have any other code placed on your theme? i.e. you embedded adsense code on the theme template.
Otherwise, it could be due the page cache. Clear your browse cache and restart your machine and see if the ads gone.

Joe

Thanks Joe for the I will check it up.

Please may I know whether it is permissible to use images from simple English Wikipedia? These include graphs.

You should be certain about the kind of license of each image. If you go to Wikimedia Commons, you can look a that license in the botom of the page where it tells you if the image can be used for commercial purposes, and if you need or not to give credit to the author

Thank you Tommy for your response. All the best.

My pleasure!

Is the a training on how to delete a post in WA? I have mistakenly posted a blog post in wa which i want to delete immediately. how do go about it?

Go to your WA blog and on the left hand side you have a little wheel (symboling settings) with an arrow - click the arrow and a small window will pop - select delete and you are done!
Good luck
Orion

Thanks a lot. I appreciate your response.

Select your WA blog and right besides the Green button on the lower left of the image or title is a tool icon. It is a drop down menu and you can choose "Delete" from there.

Rick

thank you.

Anytime.
