Hi all. The buying guides in the classes / training seem to need specific product images. I am not yet signed up to Amazon, instead trying some Etsy (Awin) and other options fi
I'm with Awin and work extensively with Etsy, so I'm glad to answer your question.
If you are an approved affiliate with Etsy, then you can use the images from an Etsy story to promote that store or item. You can't use them to promote something else or often the category in general. Make sure that there's a link to that Etsy store in your content.
The best way to get an image is to download the Etsy datafeed; each listing includes an approved image available for use.
Hope that helps!

Within your Awin account, go to Toolbox > Create-a-Feed, then you've got some choices about next steps.
You can reach out to Jeanine who can help you with this.

They are Awin WA's rep.
When you apply for affiliation and get accepted, you'll be given material that includes images and unique coded links you can use to promote their products or services on your website.
You would typically need content and traffic before applying to affiliate programs, as they would check your website before approval.
I would add more informational content to drive organic traffic.

Thank you, I have just over 40 articles on my site now, would that not be enough to start having some reviews on there? I have been accepted by Awin. Thanks

How to get product images for reviews?

I know you want to write reviews on products.
The new FTC guidelines are now very specific when it comes to reviews. You cannot imply that you have personally seen/used the product if you have not. Be very aware that there is absolutely no way your reader could remotely think that you've actually used the product unless you truly have.

Hello, On checking my website emails today I have been contacted by a website in New Zealand who have read one of my posts, like it as it is relevant to theirs and want me to c
These things (backlinks) happen naturally when folks want to connect because of value.
However, if you want to dig further
If incoming, I would do my due diligence, are they acting on their behalf or is it through an agency. If it sounds too good to be true I walk away. Also if the client website isn't up to standard, they may drag your website downhill.
Outgoing, I would want to know who I am publishing with and is it going to help my business, provided they've accepted my guest post.

Thank you for your reply, that is excellent advice. I'm following your methodology by the way. Just starting out but seeing some positive results 🙂 x
Wow sounds like this could be a phenomenal opportunity. I would reach out to some of the Ambassadors or Kyle and Carson. I would love to be able to help you, but I would have to give you false advice. Please keep me posted and I hope you all the best.
Kevin and Son
So Kyle's advice was to be skeptical as they are likely just wanting to promote their own site. Thanks everyone for the swift answers and valuable feedback x
Hi- I'm not sure I would do this but that is my own opinion. Others here on the platform could answer this better than I.
