Mind Meanderings
I guess it's controversial, or just plain stupid
but since I was undecided about my niche I started 4 websites. When I say start, what I mean is that they are indexed but without much content or no content right now.
I am primarily working on one site but it is full of starts, then restarts because I am not satisfied with the result. I changed themes many times and deleted the site completely and started over. I probably need to ask tech more questions :)
I am a very visual person
It took me many days to just start my homepage. I bought generate press premium and acabado but for the site I am currently working on the most I am using Astra's free theme lol. One of Astra's their starter themes was so visually appealing. I have watched many videos where the advise is don't worry so much about what it looks like because "content is king" but I really wanted my landing page to be amazing ... who knew that putting images and changing fonts was so time consuming ....??
As a waybeginner
I find there is so much info out there. It paralyzed me and halted my progress. I have changed tactics this week though and have now decided I will go through the training first and work on the visual aspect but limit the time I spend doing that. Maybe it is a way to keep myself from doing the thing I really need to do which is writing.
Write a blog in an hour
I watched Income School's video on writing a blog in an hour and found it very helpful so I will be using it to write my content this weekend. Their suggestions for a 1500 response post... Don't write like an expert unless you are one... start as if you are helping a friend. Your second paragraph is your answer paragraph 3-4 sentences long and in bold. Write your subheadings and then explain. Use Google Docs speech to text.
My Plan for This Week
Write as many response articles as I can. Spend most of my time finishing the training videos (heck I watched 16 hours of Continuum so managing my time better might be a good idea) Finish my landing page. Post the articles that I have written so far...
This is my first blog post which I thought was one of my tasks... but I am supposed to share one on facebook... my facebook page is mostly family .. so I have to think about that

One site is better than 2 sites. Lay it on thick with one site rather than spread yourself thin over a number of sites.
