Hi all, hoping someone can help. I've exported posts from website A and imported them to another website B. Using the 'Redirection' plugin, I've added redirects from website A to website B then unpublished the original posts in website A.
Looking at the websites and google analytics it appears the traffic from the original site A are now going to website B. However, Google search console is not showing any enquiry searches for the content I imported from website A. Do I need to resubmit the urls (with the new website domain) on google search console or submit a new site map for website B? Or will these changes happen in google console over time?

I Believe the Google search console will re-index them over time on its own but it should be faster if you resubmit your whole site map. I recently exported posts from one site and imported them to another. They do show up in Google search consul at the new site for certain keywords. Hope that helps

Hi, when you say the move feature, are you referring to the import/export? I have already done this.
I'm not transferring one website to another domain, I'm just wanting to move some posts and making sure the traffic goes with them.

That video is for moving the website to a new domain with no content. I'm moving some posts from one domain I already own to a second domain I own that is well established. That video states that using the move tool will overwrite and delete any existing data on the new website. I'm not wanting to change my second website, simply add posts to it.
