Time to be grateful - thank you google!
About two weeks ago I came so close to throwing in the towel on my site. My enthusiasm was waning both because I was finding it hard to write and also because my positions on the SERPS were up and down all the time.
I thought maybe I was a bit depressed, since I have Bipolar and all but it wasn't that - I just lost my mojo. I was down off the WA high and I was lost.
But I asked myself if I believed in my site and the stories I tell there. Did I believe I could help people. The answer was yes to both. Of course I believe in my site and in my ability to use it for the benefit of others.
My writing started to flow again, I got some great feedback on facebook and my motivation was restored.
Then this morning I logged in to Jaaxy to check out a few keywords for my next few posts and i switched over to site rank for a quick peek to see how things were going.
To cut a long story short.... one of my pages came in at No.5 page 1!!. It had previously been on page 5 and it just shot up 49 places since I last looked!
This is my first page to reach page 1 in google. I'm so excited and relieved I didn't pull the plug on my site!

lol I was beginning to think Google just wanted to be an acquaintance and not a friend but you just never know when things are gonna turn around!
The funny thing is I've gone to the SERPS and it's not there (my page) even though Jaaxy clearly shows it at number 5. Would it be because I'm in Ireland, are the SERPs different in different countries??
