About two weeks ago I came so close to throwing in the towel on my site. My enthusiasm was waning both because I was finding it hard to write and also because my positions on the SERPS were up and down all the time.
I thought maybe I was a bit depressed, since I have Bipolar and all but it wasn't that - I just lost my mojo. I was down off the WA high and I was lost.
But I asked myself if I believed in my site and the stories I tell there. Did I believe I could help people. The answer was yes to both. Of course I believe in my site and in my ability to use it for the benefit of others.

My writing started to flow again, I got some great feedback on facebook and my motivation was restored.
Then this morning I logged in to Jaaxy to check out a few keywords for my next few posts and i switched over to site rank for a quick peek to see how things were going.
To cut a long story short.... one of my pages came in at No.5 page 1!!. It had previously been on page 5 and it just shot up 49 places since I last looked!
This is my first page to reach page 1 in google. I'm so excited and relieved I didn't pull the plug on my site!
