A question for handicapped members?

Folks, I’m handicapped and in a wheelchair or at least a power chair until this morning when my chair tipped over on my deck ramp, tossed me and broke the chair leg. I had to crawl to my phone to call 911. I made it and paramedics helped me up and into my manual wheelchair. I didnt hurt myself badly. But I’m sore. I’m also more afraid of it happening again. I’ll be less adventurous in the future. I had gone out on my deck to drink my coffee and enjoy the birds at the feeder. I may not be able to do that again in my manual wheelchair which is harder to use the ramp

I’m just wondering how other handicapped members handle these setbacks.

How do you not live in fear of not being able to bounce back?

Ps. I’ll have to wait to add an image header to this When I feel more comfortable sitting at my desktop.
