For procrastinators and the pathologically shy, this first step can be the most daunting.

I'm one of those painfully shy people who abhor new experiences and hate putting myself out there for fear of failure. It's going to be hard for me to break out of that shell.

You've heard the one about the shy guy who gets invited to a party and ends up in the corner, examining a potted plant. I've actually done that.

I look forward to working with all of you and becoming the kind of dynamic individual who attacks each day and wrings every ounce of excitement out of it.
