Brace Yourselves.
For the posts are coming. . .
IN ABUNDANCE!!!
..... But, seriously. They are.
So, a couple of weeks ago, I started realizing that I was mostly just writing about songs that I like every week (with the exception of the week that I was super depressed about seeing my Maw Maw in such bad health.). The entire point of my making quirkyandthirty.com was to share ALL the quirky little things I enjoy. And I've only been sharing a very small portion of that with posts about other things here and there.
So, I started to do some planning. And this is what I've come up with:
Mondays: Song of the week
Tuesdays: Ranty Banterl/My Life in Words
Wednesdays: Games/Movies/Shows/Books I enjoy
Thursdays: Threads/Health/Beauty
Fridays: Food things/Ranty Banter/My Life in Words
I think part of what inspired this is not only my want to succeed, but also another blog I'd seen in which someone mentioned scheduling posts ahead of time. I was really impressed with that idea and I wish I could remember WHO blogged about it. I wish I could thank them. Because were it not for my seeing that post, I wouldn't have even decided that I would write everything a week ahead of time, have the weekends off, and then start writing again on Monday.
Though I'm still working at the hotel for now and am still planning on relocating, I feel that the scheduling of posts in the long run is going to be convenient because I plan on making THIS my career. I have discovered that I REALLY like to write. Don't get me wrong. I like working at the hotel, but there's so much more room to grow with this. I get excited just thinking about it. Just think about it! By planning and scheduling posts, that would leave me time to actually try and record/edit/upload videos to YouTube again. I just really like the idea of doing things on my own terms :)
Has anyone else had success with scheduling their posts/writing ahead of time? I'm curious of what kind of experience everyone else has had with this<3

I think I read the post you referred to and thought that was a good idea. Not only does scheduling set a goal, aiming for different topics on different days keeps your blog fresh and your mind in a creative mode. If you get on a kick with one of the topics, you might write several to be used in weeks ahead. You also might have a designation for other or miscellaneous topics which may take you some time to develop and just keep those on hand in case you need a fill in at some time.
G'day Sammie and thank you for the follow. Music is the Universal language and I'm sure it will be a great help to you here at WA. I wish you all the success.

Ha! Look at you got it all planned out and everything! I actually have to schedule as well because it helps me keep organized and also helps me to be consistent in my posting. It definitely works :)
Yeah, it's like a blinding flash of the obvious, right? -Alexx
