There's an interesting thing that I see happening here more and more at WA that I feel the need to comment on.

Many of us have reached WA from trying to make money online for many years with no luck, and no proven plan.

I stepped away from WA for a few months last year while I was tending to other things, but I always knew I would come back. Why? WA is the only place I knew that had a proven plan that would get me from the point of desiring an online income to actually making one. Before WA, I had given up on ever being able to make an income online. I wasted lots of money buying this software and that program that was going to make it a no-brainer for me to make money. Some I realized quickly would not work, others I tried and they still didn't work. There was always something else, an upsell, that I needed.

WA's only upsell was the Premium membership. I learned so much more that first seven days of the free membership than I had in years of trying to do this without WA. The support, the training, everything was amazing to me. I knew I could succeed if I put in the time and effort.

So what does all this have to do with the observation I mentioned earlier, and what is that observation?

I'm seeing more and more people who come to WA who are looking to make an online income who seem to think that they can do it better than Kyle, Carson, and the others here who have been successful following the formula presented here. They think they can do things differently, not watch the trainings, watch them out of sequence, etc., and still succeed. I'm not saying that is impossible. What I am saying is that if you are here, at WA, especially if you are a Premium member, you obviously saw something that you thought you could learn here.

I'm a writer. I have been a published writer for more decades than I probably want to admit (since doing so ages me). I get the whole creative thing and doing things my way, I really do. I'm not suggesting we be slaves to the process, or not try new things. That would be absurd. There is plenty of room here for individuality and mixing things up so they are interesting and reflect our own personalities and flavors.

What I do not understand is people who have struggled for many years (as so many of us have) who come in and instead of at least going through the trainings, instead try the same things they have tried before without success. It has been said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. By that definition, it would seem some here are insane. I have been, too - all the years of chasing shiny objects expecting they would work for me was insane.

The bottom line, I guess for me, is if you are here, and if you recognize that there is something here you don't know, especially if you have had NO success in the past - why not follow the system that the successful folks here use and advocate? Learn, try and then as you succeed, you can throw in the bits and pieces that make you different. I've seen people with five or six pages on their site (INCLUDING their privacy policy and About Me pages) who are making money, because of the concepts they have learned here. It makes no sense to me to be unwilling to follow the plan, the process, that has led so many at WA to be successful. It makes no sense to me to ask for feedback and then ignore it when other successful folks give you the feedback you probably need to hear, but don't want to hear.

We all have to learn. Some (like me) will learn from others, some prefer to learn by making their mistakes over and over again. Call me lazy - I prefer to take what someone else has learned and not make those mistakes, in an effort to move faster to reach my goal. Yes, I will make mistakes; I just prefer to make new ones. ;-)

Lazy? Maybe. Insane? Not anymore.
