Journeying On
I have been a little silent, I know. I have been quietly working on my website, trying to learn as much as possible. Remember when I told you I was on the brink of retirement? The official date is December 31, 2018. I have mixed feelings of course, as I have been here since February 04, 2004. A number of friendships and relationships have been forged and so it is kind of hard.
The bright side to this though is that I will have a lot of time to dedicate to my online business. I feel surrounded by real friends who wants to see me succeed and so I carry on knowing that I am not alone.
Some good news is that I have completed the Course #3 and will start on #4 soon. Thanks for all the support. Also, I did my first Website comment and earned one credit. I am excited because before signing up with Wealthy Affiliate I knew next to nothing about developing a website.
See you soon, have a great WA journey.

Sylvia,
The world is your oyster ma'am. I retired a year ago. Do I miss my work family, yes. I do still get to see or talk to them whenever I want. When I left my badge with my boss, it had my watch attached to it. When she tried to give it to me, I told her to keep it. That I wasn't in need of it anymore. I just love that lady. She might read this some day.
You are an asset in and of yourself. You are about to experience a freedom that will make you smile all the time.

Hi!
Best wishes to you in your retirement! Retirement has never agreed with me, I have had to stay busy. WA has been my lifesaver, I treat it as my "profession". I wish you continued success in your WA journey.

I plan to work online as if it were my day job. That should keep me busy. I know it will be well.
I too had mixed feelings about retiring and I went through a big adjustment. However I am glad I am here now, would never go back to the grind of a job. Good luck to you and search out new friendships, I found that to be important.
Speaking from experience, retirement is scary because you are taking a leap into the unknown. It doesn’t take long, though, to establish new daily routines and dispensing with the alarm clock is a major plus.
Being a member of WA is going to make it a lot easier. It gives you purpose and a supportive community around you.
Congratulations on completing level 3, a section I have only just started.
Wishing you a happy retirement and success through WA.
Steve.
Hi Steve. I am learning to look on the positive side of retirement. It is well. It shall be well.
Sylvia,
Congratulations on both of your accomplishments.
I will admit retirement is a bit scary but now that
I have WA things are great :)
