Traffic, Traffic Where Are You?

I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Does this lack of knowledge bother me? Perhaps. Only because if I had this knowledge before I would have been much further along in my quest to make money.

I did everything right up to a point. I chose a niche, picked a name, designed a website, did keyword research and added content, submitted a sitemap to google webmaster tools and then wondered why I wasn’t getting any traffic.

Don’t get me wrong, the knowledge was available if I had continued with my Wealthy Affiliate training but I have started two websites and I’ve been spreading myself thin trying to add content to both and pretty much suspended following the training.

How did I figure out what I was doing wrong? I attended a “Live Video Class” hosted by Jay Neill of MagiStudios.

Every Friday Jay is available to impart words of wisdom and the goal is to help the members within our community become a success in online business.

The Live Video Class on June 24 was called “How to Promote Your Content” and it was an eye opener for me.

What I learned was that I could be the owner of a really great website but unless I promoted it on social media and generated traffic it might never be found.

Jay gave some great advice on how to generate traffic.

Back to my training I go and I’m going to fix my mistake.
