Samuel, Thank you for the follow, your story is one that inspires and tells of a courageous inner strength. Godspeed with your journey.

Hi,dear WA familes may I share with you my story chapter by chapter !!

Chapter 1: Whispers of Change
In the vibrant neighborhood of Urael Street, our family's story began to unfold. It was a modest house, filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a bright future. As children, my brother, sister, and I reveled in the simple joys of our idyllic surroundings.

The walls echoed with the sounds of our father's booming laughter, a deputy manager at the esteemed Zewditu Memorial Hospital in Kebede Danki. His dedication to his work was matched only by the tenderness he bestowed upon our family. Our mother, Juliet Evangel Ybasa, brought grace and warmth into our lives as a secretary at the Ministry of Education.

Together, they nurtured an environment where dreams took flight. Our home became a sanctuary, a sanctuary where our imaginations ran wild, and the possibilities seemed endless. We would spend hours playing in the backyard, chasing after butterflies and building castles out of sand.

But life has a way of weaving unexpected threads into the tapestry of our existence. It was during those tender years, when we were still babes in arms, that our parents' love story took an unforeseen turn. Their love, once so strong, succumbed to the weight of circumstances that eluded our young minds.

And so, our mother made the difficult decision to embark on a new chapter of our lives. With a heavy heart, she gathered her children and sought refuge in the comforting embrace of our grandparents' house in the hot spring area. It was here that a new life awaited us, brimming with uncertainty and the promise of a fresh beginning.

As we settled into our new surroundings, the love and care of our grandparents enveloped us like a warm embrace. Their wisdom and guidance became the compass that would navigate us through the trials that lay ahead. We forged new bonds, strengthened by the shared experience of rebuilding our lives.

Yet, amidst the tender moments of joy and growth, a shadow of sorrow cast its pall over our family once again. The loss of my dear grandfather, Ybasa Seda, left us grappling with grief and grappling with the fragility of life. His presence, once a pillar of strength, now lingered in the memories etched within the walls of our grandparents' house.

And then, one fateful night, as I sat on my grandfather's balcony, reminiscing about the love and laughter that once filled our home, the night sky came alive with the resplendent glow of fireworks. The people of Menlik courtyard were celebrating, unaware of the storm clouds gathering on the horizon.

The demands for change swept through the nation, and the rumblings of discontent grew louder. Haile Selassie I, the revered ruler, faced mounting opposition as a generation rose against his government. The winds of revolution whispered promises of a new era, but little did we know the tumultuous path that lay ahead.

As the winds of change swept through the streets of Addis Ababa, our family found ourselves at the nexus of a shifting society. The excitement and uncertainty mingled in the air, leaving us breathless with anticipation. We watched as neighbors and friends rallied together, their voices echoing through the city, demanding justice, equality, and a brighter future.

In the midst of this whirlwind of change, our family clung to the strength of our love and the resilience inherited from our ancestors. We knew that the path ahead would be arduous, but we also held onto the belief that through unity and unwavering determination, we could weather any storm.

In this chapter, we have embarked on a journey that leads us from the idyllic streets of Uriel Street to the hot spring area, where we find solace in the love and care of our grandparents. We have witnessed the loss of a beloved grandfather and felt the whispers of change that herald a new era for our nation.
