Listening to the rain
Setting here listening to the rain on this Saturday. Lazy day, quiet day, peaceful day. Hubby and I did go to gizzard fest today, first time I had gone and no I did not eat any gizzards, they just don't sound good. It was a day earlier today but now the rain is coming down. I love the sound of the rain so peaceful, so relaxing, so calming. I love a good storm. Hope everyone has a good rest of their weekend. Peace out.

Gizzard is a funny word. It's fun to say and always makes me smile. Gizzards are quite useful. You can toss them up and hit them with a wiffleball bat. They fly funny. I keep some in my toolbox to repair tires. They're softer than stones to throw at your enemies.
Most importantly (and truthfully), chickens need them to survive. 12 hours after your post, it is raining here also--53 degrees F and rain. It feels like autumn. It's a perfect day for writing-- something truthful for the rest of the day.
