Finding Trends Through Reels & Explore Pages

One of the easiest ways I find trends is just by scrolling through Reels and my Explore page daily. I don’t overcomplicate it—I treat it like part of my routine.
When I’m on Reels, I start noticing patterns. If I see the same audio, format, or style of video pop up multiple times in a short span, that’s usually my first sign a trend is building. I also pay attention to how people are using it—whether it’s storytelling, humor, or aesthetic content.
On the Explore page, I look for posts that have high engagement but still feel “fresh.” If something has a lot of likes and comments but I haven’t seen it everywhere yet, that’s a sweet spot.
I don’t just scroll passively either. When something catches my attention, I save it straight away. After a few days, I go back to my saved posts and see what keeps repeating—that’s usually where the real trends are.
For me, it’s less about chasing every viral moment and more about training my eye to recognize what’s about to take off.
