Facebook's obstacle with me: they are trying to protect my privacy and have decided to lock my account (business) to prevent an unauthorized user (which happens to be ME) access my account.

We're. done.

However, I am having good success increasing traffic to my website with Twitter and Pinterest. I have an IG account but haven't used it much (since it is associated with Facebook) but reading your blog gives me hope that IG won't cause the same problems as FB.

I would personally like to see such an increased use of all other platforms that FB becomes obsolete. (A grand, unattainable plan, I know!)

I honestly do very little social media man. Stick to content posting on hit topics for your niche and the audience will find you in droves!

I think some people do well with social media but some do great without it too. You don't need social media to get traffic. I have tried Facebook, Twitter and others but I can honestly say it has been a waste of time. When I spend my time on content with great keywords and getting good comments, I always get more in return than spending that same amount of time (or more) on social media.

I have been getting organic traffic and making sales for years now. Though I have a full time job, my husband has a full time job and we have a side business already my websites are now making a great additional income as well and it is mostly from organic traffic.

I am getting 400-800 people per day to one of my sites right now and the vast majority of it is from organic searches. A bit is from Facebook since my posts have been picked up and shared but I am not sharing them myself!

I would recommend you take a break from social media altogether or keep sharing to Instagram if it is quick and easy but don't stress about the rest.
