Hello everyone, I think it maybe time for me to tell my own story of how I came to this point in my life. So, here goes, having spent most of my life doing low paid manual work, low paid yes, but enough to pay the bills and to life on, so I was content to just carry on, however, I have now got to a point in my life, where my health problems have prevented me from doing this type of work, I realize that some people may say, well, just get a different type of job, but I think we all know that there is a lot of competition for available job vacancies, and when you take into consideration the fact that I don't have any qualifications or experience for a different kind of job and of course when you take my age into consideration, I think you'll agree, I don't have much chance, I hadn't got any money saved so paying the bills was now, very difficult and I was feeling very low, so I felt I must at least try to pick myself up. Now, I had heard of affiliate marketing but I didn't really know anything about it, so I decided to look into it, and after finding the "get-rich-quick" "make thousands in one day" "make easy money online" and there are many of them, I actually followed some of them up, as you can imagine they were no help at all and after a few months I gave up on them, but I carried on regardless and eventually I started up a blog which I used as a sort of landing page, I signed up to click bank, joined forums and blogs etc, in an attempt to find customers, but it all led to nothing, then when I was just about to call it a day and give up on the whole idea, I stumbled across the following link.

This is the actual link I saw, so I clicked on it, and right from the start, it did seem a lot different to what I had been finding up to this point, the first thing that struck me was how welcoming and friendly everyone was, in no time at all, I felt like I wasn't alone, there I was among other people that were in the same position as me and of course, people with varying degrees of experience, all helping each other, there was absolutely loads of training videos, tasks to achieve, chat rooms, class rooms, questions and answers, in fact there was too much to take in, so, I started with the free membership, the only reservation I had about signing up to premium was the fact that it all seemed too good to be true, and we all know the old saying, if it looks too good to be true it is usually, well, I did sign up to premium, and I've been here a month now and I can assure you it really is true, Wealthy Affiliate has not only taught me more about affiliate marketing than I would have dreamed possible, but I now have my very own website, which for me is an amazing achievement on its own, but there's even more than that, contrary to feeling low and getting depressed, I now have a very interesting and exciting hobby, I can't wait to get out of bed each morning, to check on and build my website, my social media, and of course, I am always eager for Kyle's next video lesson, I already know more about affiliate marketing than I would have believed possible just 4 weeks ago, God bless Wealthy Affiliate and God bless the Wealthy Affiliate community, I love you all.
