A simple formula
LIFE IS BASED ON PRINCIPLES
Science has proven that events in the universe follow certain laws and the outcome of a certain event can be predicted fairly accurately.
Human beings too have a set of behavioral patterns that are pre-programmed into our brains. We have an automatic response to almost about anything that happens around us. We do things instinctively!
OPPORTUNITY FOR SUCCESS
This is where we find Opportunity to attain success! Once we master how to control our Responses to the Events in our life, we can also influence the Outcomes and sway them into our favor.
THE FORMULA
E (Event) + R (Response) = O (Outcome)
I learned this formula from Jack Canfield's "The Success Principles".
E - is beyond our control. Sometimes it happens without warning.
R - is where we have 100% control. The way we manage our "R" will determine our success or failure.
REMEMBER THIS
By simply changing your "R" to any "E", you will get the "O" that you want!

Great way to see things. I was recently impressed by a teenager who took this view in events involving school bullies. She knew that the way she responded was the important part.
