I agree with Steve5770. It really is content, and not .com, net or org that will rank it.

How well your site ultimately ranks will depend on lots of quality content and consistent effort. My .net site outranks some companies' own websites who I have reviewed. Companies who have .coms!

.com is what you really want. Kyle says .org can rank well as well. This is not to say that any other .net .biz domain won't rank, but it's just harder. Also I agree with comments below, I wouldn't wait for the domain to be available. If I was you I'd rearrange the words to get a .com, so it ranks easier. At the end of the day your content is what will get you rankings and traffic.

Also I want to say, I only worked with .com so I don't have experience with any other. So don't take it as past experience, rather following what Kyle have taught.

Keep on with the .net for now. If you are able to get the .com you can always forward the domain to the site that you are currently building. I would not pin your hopes on getting the .com if it means halting your progress.

The price is reasonable I am guessing, so it doesn't hurt to own both the org and net! Some people do that just to keep the domain name more secure to them alone!

Hi Chi. If I were in your shoes, I don't think I would keep on waiting for a domain that you may want, but don't know if it will ever really be available. Sometimes what you think might be a reasonable price turns out to be in the $1000's!

If you already have content on your site, I would just continue moving forward. There would be no reason to hold yourself up when you could be writing more content for Google to rank.

On the other hand, if you have a "bare bones" site, then I'd probably consider purchasing the .org. As you can get it for only $1 at 1and1.com, you wouldn't be out much.

I have worked in this niche in the past. While the actual names, images, etc.. remain the copyright of the product owner, any screenshots or video feeds that you take on your own system can be used on your sites.

I never personally posted disclaimers, however that may not necessarily be a bad idea. However, any guides, reviews, or other written material even if they contain your screenshots are your property as ruled by the Florida courts system when Blizzard entertainment tried to sue the maker of Zygor guides and a couple of other World of Warcraft guides a few years ago.

All in all, the feeds you record, and the screenshots you take are safe to use on your site. Another option that you can check into is to visit the developers sites as many will often have press release screenshots that you are able to use.

Another side note is that if you are a Gamestop affiliate you can often use their videos and screenshots. Simply contact them and ask.

It's a fun niche, but as you said it can be difficult to find some decent images. I know I normally took my own screenshots using Print Screen and Gimp. For videos I use EZvid and Bandicam.

Hi. Those pages don't need keywords. I always recommend, though, that your About Me page tells something about you and even why you started your website. A lot of visitors will read it to make sure you're human and they like to know why you are on this journey. But I don't think you need to worry about keywords.

You should only have one key word or keyword phrase per page. This is usually the title of the page or post.

You should mention your keyword or keyword phrase once in the first paragraph of your article or post.

Can you/should you use the same keyword on multiple pages? The answer here is why?
You have the main keyword on the page or post. What is the need for mentioning it again on another page? I do not see the reason for this. Each page should have it's own unique keyword phrase. Write excellent content about each keyword or keyword phrase on the page or post. There is no need to mention the same keyword phrase on other pages. Stick to the current page with the that keyword or keyword phrase.

How many keywords should you have or not have in the All-in-one- SEO pack plugin? None. According to Jay, the SERPS or Google do not look at that for the rankings. Content is KING. However, if you are using the All In One SEO pack, be sure to fill in the Meta Title and Meta Description. Google does look at those. But, not the keyword listed in the All In One SEO pack kewword box.

As a reference, how many keywords/usage would be considered "keyword overkill"?
If you write your content normally to the reader or visitor to your site, the keyword or keyword phrase will come naturally. That is your objective. You only need to mention your keyword once in the first paragraph and once more in the last one. That is all you need. In a 250 - 400 word article, the keyword should be mentioned no more than five times. Do not write for the keyword or phrase, but write to your audience. So, let the keyword or keyword phrase come naturally and you will do fine.

I always add a plugin called "WordPress SEO." It's the very first one on the page and it's by Yoast. It informs you of everything you'll need to complete to fully optimize your site... how many keywords, how many h1,h2,h3 tags you'll need and much more.

Don't know if anyone else uses this handy plugin or not.

Writing is my weak point. But I have a blog post that I share on FB and G+. FB 50 likes and G+ 450 . When you get the KW ready just write naturally for your readers. You want interact and help them. Well I will try to answer this question to the best of my ability.

1) I think it isn't about getting the right amount of keywords per page, but have the keyword in the title (of course) and again in the 1st paragraph are the 2 most important things to do. After that write naturally, I am not saying to not include your keyword again, but don't force it.

3) Yes, you can because sometimes information will overlap and you will need to refer to something else that have before. I think if you understand what keyword overkill is you will understand the rest.

5) Keyword overkill. So say your keyword is dog racing, keyword overkill or "stuffing" would look like.

Dog racing is a great activity to get people out and interacting with their dogs and other people. Dog racing comes in many shapes and sizes. You can dog race at the track, you can dog race at the park, you can even set up your own dog race in the neighborhood.

When you talk about keywords we mean a three, four or five word statement...how to gut fish ...etc.

You should put your KW in the title the first paragraph maybe one or two times more in the article you can put it in the image also.

You can use KWS all over your post and pages and you do that by writing naturally about the topic. Don't over do it Google will see if if you stuff the post too much. I would put 4 KW's tops in my posts and they all rank well enough.
