Overcoming Fear
Fear.
It's a big problem for me. I've struggled with letting fear rule my decisions almost my entire life.
As soon as I upgraded to Premium, guess what? Fear raised its ugly head and I just wanted to bolt.
Why?
Because now I've committed. Now I've spent money and now, if I fail, there will be a record of it.
While it was all a dream, while I was futzing around for free, there was no commitment and no-one would notice if I flaked out.
(What I realized while writing this is that before there was real potential, before there was real possibility, there wasn't the chance of failure, so there was nothing to be afraid of.
Huh.)
Now there is a chance for real change in my life and so now, of course, I'm scared.
But this time, unlike other times I've started new projects, I'm not going to quit. This time I'm going to battle through the fear and stay on track.
I'm not sure what makes this time different. Maybe it's the fact that I've got another person counting on me. Maybe I just want to show my daughter what it looks like to face down your fears and be successful in spite of them. Or maybe I've just grown as a person. Either way, I'm going to let the resistance be my guide. Whatever I'm resisting, that's what I need to be doing more of - and since I feel like running away from WA and forgetting I ever heard of it, obviously this is where I need to be!

There is a reason that we feel fear, and there is also a reason that it ultimately results in feats of incredible strength. It's good that you're scared, it will push you to do things you never imagined! Welcome. Sarah

Hi Rebecca
We have a definition for fear - it's - False Evidence Appearing Real.
Fear is really you deciding what the outcome will be before you move (it's also called - being afraid of the unknown).
I would suggest you challenge your fears - whenever Fear says you can't - then do exactly what fear tell you you can't do.
