Frustration
My daughter is going through a very needy stage where she's only happy if she's being held. I know it's just a phase and that one day I'll look back on this time and reminisce fondly, and that one day I'll miss the smell of her little baby head - but it certainly makes writing content very difficult!
So I hold her and do what research I can, write what I can, and work on being patient with myself, with her, and with my progress. After all, this is a long-haul thing - both motherhood and my website - and every little bit counts towards my end goals even when it seems like I'm not achieving anything in the day to day.

Oh trust me, I know the feeling and now I get to enjoy my boys (all 3 of them). Two of my sons are at school right now, so this is when I get my work done. I know it's hard, but try to find the best time to do your work and you will develop some kind of schedule.
For me, I had to wait until everyone slept and that's when I focused a lot better. Yeah I lost sleep, but you get what you put in. I hope you and baby's doing well and please let me know if you need help with anything.
Thank you guys! She's sleeping on my lap as I type one-handed...it helps to remember that she is the whole reason I'm doing this, and that I'm not alone in this business-building/parenting thing!
I too have a 2 month old that is seriously screaming his lungs out as I'm responding to your post. Although I am a father, I do raise my kids like I'm the mother. I do this for them and that is what has made me successful online. You will do the same too, so keep that in mind.
Hey Rebecca, although I am not a mum (yet) I will definitely keep up to date with things you have going on to see how you are dealing with them. I tried to imagine what it may be like with a newborn or a couple of month old and I guess I will learn when I get there - then be posting such posts myself. I think you have made a great decision though, this being my aim, to be able to work at home and actually spend time with my children unlike so many of my friends who have chosen to go back to their day job.
So I hope you do well and keep it up, it is people like me who need people to aspire to like you! All the best Rebecca and best wishes to your daughter :) Sandra
Hi Rebecca,
Hang in there and give yourself time to enjoy the little things in life. You will reach all your goals and I think you will achieve your success in due time.
Being a mom and grandmom, I have been were you are and I wish I could have taken a little more time to enjoy the small things in life however work always took me away.
I'm sure you are a great mom and your site will be the greater because of it.
Stay Awesome my friend,
Tammy:-))
Speech to text is a wonderful thing for moms with full laps and busy hands. :) It is hard juggling everything. I'm often up until midnight or after doing the training these days. You'll find the time when you can. Hope to see you back here soon!
