30 Days In

30 days ago I joined Wealthy Affiliate with a free membership. I set my goals and have been (pretty) consistent with working on my site and going through the training. It can be difficult with a teething baby who doesn't sleep during the day but that just means I have to be creative about how I find time to research key words and write content.
My 30 day goal was to have a website up and running with 15 posts. I've got 12 posts, so I didn't quite hit my goal (though the day isn't over yet so I may get to 13 today), but considering how much I've learned and how much research I've done I'm not disappointed with that. Part of the journey is learning how to balance time with my family and time working for our future. If I can't take a moment to comfort my daughter when she's miserable, or step back and realize that maybe today is a day when she needs me more and I'm just not going to get the work done I thought I would, then what's the point of doing this?
I've got more to learn but I'm still excited about the opportunities to be had with affiliate and content marketing and the training here at WA. I look forward to reaching my goals in the coming months and years!
