Fairly Stressed, But Hoping My Time Comes
Hey everyone!
Haven't blogged in awhile.
I just wanted to reach out and talk about some of my successes and failures thus far.
Success:
I am continuing to make great progress by posting at least once every single day. I am up to around 22 posts and am desperately hoping that some visitors will start pouring in soon.
Also, my posts are continuing to become indexed by google. This is a slow but sure process and I am confident in my ability to throw out quality content.
I have also completed the Unit of training concerning making money. This leads me to some of my stresses, which are the social media emphasized lessons.
Troubles:
No doubt, everyone will have some troubles along the road. And, I really think it just helps to talk about them.
I am becoming very stressed out by creating all of the social media accounts. I am wondering how I will ever gain a solid following.
I also haven't made any type of commission yet although I have put 21 posts out there including reviews on products that are linked to from my regular posts. I have not made commission on my amazon native ads either.
Another stressor, is after 22 articles, many ranked my google, I only have about 1-2 organic visitors a day. I am hoping this will increase a lot more in the future.
Closing Thoughts:
My closing thoughts are full of timid emotion, excitment, and feeling exhausted.
Does anybody have any opinions on which 1 or 2 social media outlets have the most potential? I truly don't believe I will be able to do them all. It really did take me to a low place today.
I almost miss the days of only worrying about writing good content.
But, heres the moral of the story.
I will keep my head up. Tomorrow is a new day, full of new opportunity. I will be taking the rest of the night off because my health needs it. I need it. I need to return my thoughts into positive ones and to do this, I will go to my happy place and return in the morning.

I suggest you set up a Gmail account and Google+ as in Wa we share our google plus accounts to build a following and this is so helpful. A Pinterest account is really easy to set up and by adding great images with your link attached you will get followers. This again is easy to do
Don't stress about traffic - it will come. The more awesome content you write the more visitors you will attract and this takes time
Everything great takes time.
Do not worry about the money as this too will come once your website gains popularity and traffic
All good things will come, I know it. Just keep writing great content and do what you are doing

Hey Russell...Welcome to WA! Sounds like you have a bit of overwhelm which can happen.The good news is that those frustrations and challenges are not out of the ordinary. They are part of developing a lasting business. Any worthwhile business always takes time, energy, and patience. WA offers great certification training modules, along with trainings done by members, and by the WA trainer, Jay, who does Live trainings on Friday nights.
Yes, there will be challenges and frustrations, but keep going. Be sure to do all of the steps in the training. Along the way, you will tackle social media and figure out which ones work best for your target audience.
I believe you can do this and I look forward to reading about your successes. For now, take a brain break and go for a walk. :)

I just know you can do this, b/c you made it through your college degrees. Besides, this will be more fun. This is the WA university of online marketing. You can ace this! :)

Russell take a moment and breath. 1 don't stress out about social media do it on your time it doesn't have to be a right now thing. I have many opinions about social media some good some not so good. 2. You have only been at this just about a month not going to sugar coat this it could take some time to start earning revenue.
When a business is started statistics show it can take up to at least a year to show profit. This is not to discourage you it's for you to keep an open mind it can take some time. Your main concern is to build content and trust from google and viewers.
Things will happen you must be patient if stress sets in take a breather and go do something fun.

Hello Russell, it is not an easy process, but the social media pages are important to the whole process. Knowing how to use them to your advantage is the difficult part. I find Facebook, Instagram, twitter and LinkedIn to be the ones to focus on. Some people also suggest Pinterest. I am still checking that one out.

I agree that you shouldn't stress too much about growing a following on social media because all of that comes in time. It seems like you're on the right track with daily postings and your visitors. Once you get your social media accounts set up, share your posts and that'll eventually bring more visitors to your website.
I personally find the hardest part is the waiting game, but you'll get there, just like I will someday.
I think Pinterest is a big social media account to get into because everyone underestimates it. The majority of my traffic comes from my Pinterest accounts.
