Holiday Treats for Our Furry Friends
First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday with your loved ones.
Today, I did something positive that I’m really happy about. As you can see in the picture, the cats are having a feast and they loved it so much! These are stray cats who usually come and go, but today I was glad they visited us. Perfect timing, because I had some fresh fish ready, and I know it’s their favorite.
Actually, we only have two cats of our own. They used to be strays too, but since we took care of them, they never left and became part of our family.
So from now on, I’ve decided to start a new tradition: every Christmas, the stray cats will have a holiday treat. I hope they’ll keep coming back so I can continue to feed them and share the joy of the season with them.

Aussie my dog was so excited on Christmas just like a little kid, he got a stocking from Santa with his favorite treats. What he can put into his tummy is what he loves the best, and yes his New Years Resolution is to lose weight after her eats all his favorite treats for sure

My Chocolate Labrador loves food too. Toys are enjoyable, but food makes the tail go round like a helicopter blade. :-)

Food does seem to give them more excitement than even toys, Aussie will spin around three to five times sometimes for a special treat.
Aussie needs to cut back on his eating, but its hard for me to stick to a strict diet for him.

What breed is yours? Mine is an 'I am always starving' Labrador.
My dog had a healthy appetite since he was a pup. He is an Austalian Shepherd. Your dog is a high-energy dog breed, used for hunting originally similar to mine.

Yes, she is very much a retriever - loves catching frisbees. That's the good thing - it uses up calories. Otherwise she would get overweight quickly because I can't walk for miles.
Will look up Australian Shepherds in a little while. Just starting cooking dinner now.
My brother has a retriever, he can't let it out by itself or it goes hunting on its own. (smile) Good she is into frisbee, mine is into jumping up to catch balls in the air. Even though he is getting old and fat, he still can get up in the air pretty high for those balls.
