Pinterest gone mad
My Pinterest profile has gone crazy lately. I have around 4000 followers but in the past week have gone from around 35K unique viewers to tonight 68K.
I have not done a lot differently, except that I have stopped following people myself.
all my photos have my website on them as the URL so although no sign ups, I am getting traffic. And they all have hashtags.
I post from yesterday, which was just a dog, got 20k views, 23 pins and 15 website visitors.
another that I posted the day before went from 5.3 yesterday to 13k today, from 14 pins to 53 and 3 website clicks to 9. I now have 10 pins that are over 1K views including 2 board covers...
absolutely stoked. I only post 6to 10 pins a day, not hundreds to get these views.
for anyone looking at Pinterest, keep at it.

I thiunk there is a sort of tipping point (as in many things) whereby you achieve a certain momentum and it just builds, like a snowball! :-)

I've been getting more impressions too! How do you attract more followers though?
Great stats. I have not still gotten the hang of pinterest. I am not yet seeing good enough results.
My own photos and infographics. You can't get stats from repins and adding your own website to someone else's pin is stealing and likely to get you banned.
I built up by searching for people by topic. When you find people with big accounts Pinterest will often recommend 20 or so similar people. Follow them and their followers. Slowly. Up to 100 at a time. Many will follow back. Follow back people who follow you. Spend time looking on the platform. I have built up my following fairly quickly doing this. The Last 3000 in a couple of months. Now I don't follow anyone else. I just add content and it seems to do the trick.
