Chasing the Dream of a paid subscription site

Well with an idea in the back of my head I have started looking at how I would build a paid subscription site in wordpress and siterubix..

A site where you could have multiple levels of membership, provide controlled content and even some basic forums.

Well I searched and tested in a sandbox and decided that the following are the most likely plugins to give me what I am after..

• Membership2
• Buddy Press
• BBpress

So I have installed these and are testing them now, will update progress in a day or so and then do some training on how it all works together at the end..
