This is my second post on this blog.
One month!
I have been here a month, well actually tomorrow January 14th I have been here a month. It's time to take stock and determine what's happened in this time.
First of all, I have met a lot of positive people in the community, some people I know better than others. But all the contacts I have made in the different fora; live chat, questions and comments at profiles, requests for comments etc., have all been positive!
And boy have I learnt a thing or two! The training here is second to none. They have been able to teach an old dog like me some new tricks. This is really serious stuff! .:-)
The website - my online lab
You can immerse yourself in all the writeups and discussions, and I have done. But I like to try out stuff, so my website is currently my online lab. Here I can check out what I am learning and trying out the stuff in practice.
Currently I am not too concerned about earning money. I want to understand what works for both people and search engines (read Google - the 800 pound gorilla).

The website, rolfbratli.com isn't much at the moment. I have decided to write about all related to online activity, which mean there is really no limit to what I can write about.

According to the training this is not a good choice, but I will see if this approach can be used to promote Wealthy Affiliates. Because they also told us -- BE DIFFERENT!
The purpose of my website (if any)
The main purpose of my website though, is to help other newbies to avoid all the craters in the road (scams) so they can have a peaceful online journey.
I am trying to write about what I thought was difficult before I got it explained in the training. Because I think of myself as pretty average, so what I have problems with there are likely many others having the same problems.
I hope that I can help some of those coming online avoid the scammers I fell prey to some years ago. If I get ONE onto the right path (WA) during the first couple of months I have achieved something in my opinion!
The Community
I will like to extend a great THANK YOU to the community for being so positive and helpful in my first month! Without you I have been still on the 5th training module with no website!

To Kyle and Carson: You have done a fantastic job creating such a resource, building it up over a period of 10 years. And the community you have helped create during these years is a fantastic contribution to the online cmmunity! THANK YOU!
And today I learnt that Wealthy Affiliate has become a Domain Registrar (hardly news worthy for you)! But that makes WA the most complete center - all included - for an online marketer! None above or beside!
My pledge
To round off this 1 month anniversary(!) I hope I can become a positive contributor to the community in the months (and years - God willing). ahead.
I want to serve the Community and the people reading my stuff to the best of my abilities!. But yet my contribution is limited, since I have just got started as an apprentice in the online world!
Let's make this a FANTASTIC YEAR for all WA-ers and the ones we serve!
