Wealthy Affiliate is suspicious?

Yeah that's the exact problem I face when I am promoting Wealthy Affiliate with good intention on Facebook group. I publish a post writes " Learn to build your own wealth "on certain Affiliate marketing group in Facebook. There are people dropping comments and asking for more info. As usual i private message them and send them wealthy affiliate links but what i found out is they all stopped at sign up process. WHY IS THAT?
There one more fellow replied my message asking how do i earn money from it. Then I explain that Wealthy Affiliate taught us some lessons on how to set up our online business and etc. Then there one sentence he replied " I can't access them without sign up ? ". What is wrong with signing up? I even explained that Wealthy Affiliate is free sign up. I don't even earn single penny from him unless he became premium.. I was like what?? So suspicious and this prove our internet is so full of scam that everyone had to become so alerted in sign up form. I bet he doesn't even sign up and give WA a chance.
I am now out of ideas to promote WA on Facebook groups as they are just not interested and just wanted to become rich in short amount of time. Can you imagine it?. There are post writing " Get paid $ 200 direct to paypal now. Comment pay " , then everyone comment pay. I was like " you guys gotta be nuts to even believed that ". I know it's human nature to be attracted whenever it comes to money. Anyway, i am just expressing myself here. No offence tho.
