To submit a sitemap on Google

Hello:
I just want to say that after you watch the video on How To Submit A Sitemap, some of the things have changed. After you add your property (or site) to the Console, it will show your site as added, then you will get a message that says you were sent an email.
Open up the email, and it will walk you through the rest of the set up process like magic.
I hope that this will save you from wasting many hours like I did!
