Navigating Through The Sytems

I;m sure there are those of you who remember a time when cars didn't have a GPS system, in them or navigation systems you can download right from the phone. When you needed to get somewhere, you had to rely on good old directions and hope they were given correctly.

I remember I was (a little younger) I decided I wanted to drive down to Virginia Beach, VA from New York. I bought maps of the East Coast of the United States and then had such a struggle to try to read those maps and I got SO lost! Due to being so lost I never wound up to Virginia Beach and feeling defeated, I made my way back home. I spent 18 hours driving and never got to my destination! It should take about 12 hours to get from New York to Virginia Beach (give or take a little), but you got my point!

The Navigation to NOT Get Lost

It was a wonderful thing when the GPS was being put in cars, or you could purchase one or download it on your phone. Now I have no problem getting where I need to go. This is the way I feel about affiliate marketing and finding Wealthy Affiliate. I tried several affiliate and MLM programs and felt I did that day going to Virginia Beach - LOST! It was like navigating with a map that was so complicated I believed I was never going to be able to getting any success and never be successful with affiliate marketing; let alone create my own website. Then I came across WA and it has been my GPS. With all the training and assistance I receive here, I really feel I am navigating in the right direction towards success. I saw from the get go that this program was not like the other ones I ventured, and for me personally I saw immediately the value this program had to offer: I believe it was only 15 minutes after signing up on the Starter Program I went Premium.

For me I have accomplished in the last 2 1/2 weeks since going Premium more than I ever did in the last year and a half trying out other affiliate programs. I have written 6 posts on my website, one of them has been indexed. I am now writing my third blog here on WA and I have been interacting with incredibly talented folks here. In the two and a half weeks being here, my rank went from somewhere in the 200,000's to 30,417. I know that Rank is still high, but to me that's quite a drop in two weeks and for me it's a marvelous accomplishment, because it shows me that I CAN and WILL DO THIS!

****UPDATE WOW my rank is actually down to 25,564 now!*** (Again, for me, this is just more proof!)

Robert when I was little 55+ years ago, we went on many vacations and other side trips. With 2 brothers we took turns reading the maps. In the beginning, my parents used trip maps by AAA.
As we learned to read my older brother delegated us to do some reading and setting directions. By our teens, we got very good at it. We also learned the compass that a lot of cars had on the front windshield.
Your generation like my children had GPS in the 2000's, yet my son told me he learned and remembered my teaching him maps. His phone GPS did not work and he was challenged to stop get a map and figure out his destination.

I challenge you to put the phone down for a trip and plan it by map the old way. You may find it useful if you lose your phone and only have a compass and a map. Who knows maybe we will lose our cell connection and this will come in handy.

Good post. Keep moving forward.
Take care,
Bill

So true, LOL though never good at reading maps, that is very good advice.
