Lengthy Spam Content

Is any getting lengthy and rambling spam content that doesn't make any sense in their comments section.

Fortunately they are being blocked or I have to approve first - but just wandering if anyone has this happening to their websites.

Nope :(

No, not having those issues. Maybe your website is beginning to get more exposure and recognition.

Thanks Guys for weighing in on this. I have Antispam Bee installed, as well as Akismet is still active on my sights, so the comments are NOT being posted on my sites. It's just a pain constantly deleting email notices to approve or disapprove.

Marion is right. But, in the event you find yourself with spam that's still getting through (though quite honestly, since I installed WP SpamShield, it's not happened), Andre has a great training on how to correct it. Hope this helps and God Bless!

I got one which is more than 2000 words and just deleted it.

It happens to everyone who has a website Rob. Your spam blocker should take care of it

The spams are blocked by WP-Spamshield.

When using WordPress or other CMS this happens a lot, if you use WordPress then Akismet plugin can help you keep your site clean from spammers, give it a try.

I've been with Akismet from day one. And I also have Antispam Bee, which Kyle is now recommend we use instead of Akismet. The comments are being blocked, it's just that constant emails to moderate the comments are getting annoying. Thanks

I get them as well.

Hi Rob. Yes, definitely know what you are referring to. Very long spam comments which make little sense and take up a lot of space! Mine are not getting through either, but it is still a pain just getting rid of them.
