Over the years I have looked at many different internet marketing programs/systems.

I started with the free ones. That was definitiely a mistake. But you live and learn.

All the programs say they are the best and most economical.
Well, let me tell you, they all leave a lot to be desired..........

In one of my past lives I taught adults how to teach. There were several criteria I always looked at when assessing the ability of a new teacher.
If you are to Learn Marketing Online For Free, here are my five important criteria for learning.

Firstly, the content of the programs.
I have found there can be many gaps in the teaching of these online programs. Especially with internet marketing, one or two gaps in your knowledge can mean the difference between a website that will produce money and one that just exists on the web and looks pretty.
It's a bit like building a house. if the build doesn't have a well layed out plan, then what you'll end up with is something you didn't really want. It might keep you dry, but it won't really do the job you were hoping for.
I have found many programs knowingly leave out large amounts of important information which you then have to buy online to make their system work.
Know what you are signing up for before you invest your hard earned money.

How is the Program Taught
Being a trainer for over 20 years, the way training material is presented can make all the difference in you learning and retaining the information. There are three primary ways you access infromation, you see, you hear or you feel, known as visual, auditory and kinesthetic. The visual method is the big one for me. For you it maybe one of the other two mentioned. So whatever your method of getting information, make sure that the method of training presented in a manner that will work for you.

Cost of Programs
I have personally spent in excess of $2,500, and then find out to get "all the information" I still needed to spend more of my money. This is very frustrating because it's not until you are part of a program do you know what you don't know. By then you have spent your money. Know beforehand exactly what you are getting for your money. If it is a "get rich quick" program, I'd think twice and maybe find one that is get rich slow.

Track Record
The track record of any group that is promoting Internet Training, should have reviews from many current and former students. If these records can go back several years, all the better. Accept nothing but an excellent review, find one where you would be happy spending your money and more importantly your time. I'm talking about a 9 out of 10, not a 7 out of 10. Feel comfortable with the company, it's reviews and what they are asking in terms of money.

Learning Community
A real bonus for any learning program is to have an online community you can talk to. Members that have traveled the road where you are going can offer, all sorts of information that you may not have understood from a training lesson. A different slant on a topic can make all the difference to moving ahead with your learning. I have been stuck several times and all I needed was somebody to explain to me in a different way that makes sense to me. Maybe just a different analogy is all that is needed.

CONCLUSION:

Having joined Wealthy Affiliate in 2015, without even knowing it, We then went out looking for something else. Being FREE to start could not be any good could it?
