A Few Words About My Progress So Far.

I don't write many blog posts within WA itself but I am writing today to report my progress so far and some of the good and bad experiences.

I have reached the end of the level 2 training phase, a little belatedly as I injured myself quite badly in the gym and was out for about two weeks. Since then, I have come back roaring like a lion and added new content to my site every day, which I am continuing to do.

All my blog posts are indexed in Google and I have at least 3 +1 posts in my Google+ profile. All I need to do is a bit of housework (select a better theme, add links to other keyword posts, etc.) but I am pleased to have constructed the foundation of my long term successful business, which I intend to convert eventually into a huge, successful megastore, selling all the top brands of cricket equipment.

The best part is the training. The modular format has helped me put together an SEO blog very quickly. I am not new to Wordpress and already have my own hosting and domains, but WA has helped me systematise the process and understand the stages to go through to get the thing done. In addition, it has helped me stay motivated. Everyone in here seems very motivated and eager to help.

The only thing that bothers me is taking images from Google images and other resources. Many, if not all, of the decent cricket images (and there are not many) require attribution, which no one here seems to know, realise or understand. Still, I will figure this one out by myself. (AND, I would appreciate it if nobody replied saying, "Hey Robert, just make sure it says 'labeled for reuse in the settings'," or, "You should try Wikicommons," or, "Pixabay..." because I already know that and that is not what I mean.)

From now on, it's going to be at least one ranking post per day, plus affiliate links to several lines of products to build out the storefront. After three months this will be a real money making website. That is what I am going all out for. Six months from now, I want it to be making more than a full-time income.

This is a relief to me as anyone who knows me will tell you, I can't stand having a job, so being self-employed and making it work is essential. For some, this represents a side income, something to suppliment their paycheck, but for others, it's their bread and butter.

Good luck to all of you!
