Where Our Decisions Lead Us

Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!

Personally I don't believe anything in my life is predestined. I believe the decisions that I make on a daily basis bear a direct result on my future life experiences.

These decisions don't always have to be tangible things like deciding to buy a brand new car or starting a new career. Decisions also relate to what you decide to think or focus on and even more important, at least to me, how you decide to feel in any given situation.

After all you may not have total control over what happens but you do have total control over how you decide to feel.

Your Decision to Join WA

What was this decision about? Was it just a hobby? dabbling in something new? a distraction to cope with COVID-19 and all the restrictions that came along?

Or was it a decision for a better life? for financial freedom? or even to follow a dream?

Whatever the reason for the decision, please remember that bears direct impact on your future experiences.

That means from here on in if you decide to be half-assed about the time you put in towards building your online business, then guess what ... that's the future experience you have waiting for you.

If however you keep that Vision clear, if you have that end goal firmly set in your sights, then the decisions you make will be strategic, well thought out and in line with the future you want to experience.

My Sunday Decision

Today I really don't feel up to spending a lot of time working on my website, writing/updating blogs, reviewing WA training or even catching up on WA posts.

I want to relax, eat, eat some more, watch TV and just chill. Later today there's a T20 cricket match between the

West Indies and Sri Lanka and I definitely plan to be glued to the television.

Those of you who follow cricket will understand my excitement.

Today should just be about down time. After all tomorrow is Monday and it's back to my full time 8-4 and the hectic routine many of us have.

Question is - Will that decision take me to the future experience I'm looking for?

Maybe it will and maybe it won't. What I do know is that all work and no play will make me a pretty dull girl and balance is important.

So I have made the decision to compromise.

I will dedicate a set amount of hours towards building my online empire and then I'll do a little rest and relaxation before diving into another hectic work week.

How have you decided to spend your Sunday? Care to join me to watch the cricket or will you be engrossed in planning for the week ahead?

Any which way, whatever you decide, I hope you have an enjoyable Sunday and a productive week ahead.

Looking forward to hearing what you're up to so please leave a comment and give me a like. I appreciate you guys :)

Roberta

I rarely watch sports on TV, but I made a decision in the first week after joining, that I would take Sundays off. I'm finding it makes Mondays harder in the community with catching up on posts, but I don't regret my decision. I hope you enjoyed the cricket match, Roberta. Did your team win?

Yes they did win Lynn. It was such an exciting match. I split my day between WA and relaxation and it ended up fabulous.

I hope you had an amazing weekend as well.

Not particularly interested in Cricket more towards other sports. However, when I met a Girl who eventually became my Wife I did "bowl a maiden over". :)
I understand how you feel having a break and relaxing, it's good for the mind and in a sense empowers you to be more effective.
With regard to making decisions that can be a tricky one, I think your right about "predestination". Very often I've made decisions based on a situation at that particular moment. Later found it to be a good one or maybe not so good. So I guess that would rule out "predestination" but the matter is still left open for discussion.
Thanks for your thought provoking article.
Terry

But you sure did get the cricket jargon right Terry ... hahaha

Destiny is what you make of it in my books but you're right, it left open for discussion.

Nice hearing from you.

We all need to find the right work/life balance Roberta.

As a cricket lover, I will certainly follow how your team gets on today, so after so many batting collapses recently by my country in India and losing the test series badly I look forward to a competitive match!!

I really do hope both teams come with their A game so we can have an exciting final.

May the best team (WI ...lolol) win!!!

I've always had a soft spot for the Windies Roberta!

Dates back to one of the first ever professional matches I watched live as an eight year old boy!

Waiting in line to get the autograph of Malcolm Marshall will never leave my mind!!

Best of luck for today's game!!

Plus Brian Lara is always in my top two batsmen of all time, the other is England's Robin Smith!

I think all true lovers of the sport long for a return of the legendry brilliance of West Indies cricket.

Each team brings it's own flair but West Indies cricket meant so much to so many. You have me going off on a whole other tangent in my mind too much to discuss here.

I'm glad I found a cricket lover amongst the WA ranks. I'm sure we'll have lots more to chat about.

I love me some Brian Charles Lara ... :)

We certainly will Roberta!!

WI won Nick!!!! Yayyyy :)

Tight came and came down to the wire.

One day series starts next. I'll keep you informed.

Balance in all that we do is very important. Sunday mornings there is no work, and usually afternoons can be sports, family or a little work to catch up on emails, but not the main work on building my online business. Much of it is automatic and the reason I set it up that way is to give me time.
Take care and enjoy the game.
Bill

I am now getting started in this - 4 months in. Also my day job keeps me quite busy so weekends I try to make up. But I don't have the energy today so I'll follow my inner voice and just scale back today's activities.

Hope you're enjoying your Sunday!!

I agree that it's always important to create balance in your life. Like doing the things that you miss doing and yes it's always good to relax and watch some 📺 T.V.
Luckily I have already done that last weekend when I went to stay at a hotel in the city. 😄

Enjoy your Sunday!

Myra

Finding the balance is so important indeed. I'm glad to hear you got your rest and relaxation in last weekend. Hope you thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday as well Myra.

I think I did thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks, Roberta😊

Myra

Glad to hear that!
