Success as an affiliate marketer takes time
People are easily drawn to all those ads and promos highlighting the luxurious lives of online entrepreneurs. They most often think to themselves "yes, I can do that! That's the kind of life I want to enjoy!".
A great example of the power of Social Media!!!! The power to draw you in with the notion that success is as easy as "following these ten steps" or better, yet success is just "one click away".
Well truth be told, success as an online entrepreneur may not be for you if you think it's gonna be that easy.
SUCCESS TAKES TIME
I'm no naysayer, I definitely believe that success is guaranteed for each and every one of us. We just need to be clear on our goals, have absolute faith in achieving them, and work diligently towards making it happen, one day at a time.
This quote right here says it all:

That means we have our proverbial "dues" to pay before we get ahead. So be patient, this process takes time.
HERE ARE A COUPLE POINTERS TO GUIDE YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY
As an affiliate marketer, you must be sure who your target audience is. Once that is established you begin the process of building a credible brand.
A brand that helps you establish and create consistent traffic to your website. Traffic that will convert to sales.
Keyword research is crucial when creating content. Remember the goal is to develop content that provides excellent search engine rank positions thus drawing the most potential customers in.
Make the most use of Jaaxy! Let me say that again - make the most use of Jaaxy! After all we have access to the leading keyword and research platform that was developed by affiliate marketers for affiliate marketers.
Stick to your chosen niche, that's where your strength lies. Don't get carried away selling anything and everything. Remember you're building a brand in a specific niche so stick to the plan.
Be unbiased in your product/service reviews. Unbiased reviews position you as an authority on the subject and not as a salesperson throwing out a pitch. If people trust your advice they will return to your site for future reference.
SUCCESS IS ON THE OTHER SIDE
If the discomfort you feel over the next year allows you to live out the rest of your life the way you've always dreamed then hell yes! - it's all worth it.
Just a bit of Monday Motivation to keep us moving forward.
How's your week shaping up?
I'd love to hear from you.

Wow, thanks Roberta, great inspiring post.
LOVE that quote at the end too...a handy perspective to keep in mind when we're all bashing away on our keyboard to build that content etc-just remembering to keep pushing, as will be worth it at some stage when we get to the 'other side'
Thanks again, all the best!
Glad you enjoyed it Mat and yup ... we just have to remain focused on getting to the other side.
Hey Roberta. I think work is challenging. Which I enjoy a challenge. I think work is enjoyable.... I also think work gives me meaning and purpose in my life. I also think work is a gift. And the to put the icing on the cake is the fruits of my labors. The success. I have only been here two months but I have enjoyed what I am doing here. I am almost ready to start marketing my websites. Kinda excited. Thanks for you views on this online marketing. Much truth in what you say ..
Cheers
Dave
Challenges should be enjoyed so I agree with you. David They push us out of our comfort zones and open us up to new experiences. For me life is all about new experiences, so challenges I'm ready!
Great to hear you're progressing well here within WA and ready to launch out your websites. Wishing you all success my friend.
Love it. Such a true post . You have to put in the work if you want to get paid. That’s what I love about wealthy affiliates. It’s a program to grow your business idea not one of those fake get rich quick promotions that are a everywhere these days.
That's right Jonathon you get out what you put in. WA has a really nice set up for us to get a lot out of this online business. We just have to be prepared to put the work in.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts,
It is a critical time for the online marketing world, which is starting to face many headwinds. People are displaced and, more than ever, searching for ways to effect change in their lives.
One of the downsides to the industry is the many and varied sales pitches that create unrealistic expectations!
In the emerging new world, we are entering, any business takes time, and in many cases, that is a commodity that many do not have. It is refreshing to read beacon posts that highlight the reality of the situation, especially when it comes to online marketing.
Of all the ways to generate an online income, blogging would be one of the most challenging.
It all falls back to applied knowledge, having said that we are well placed with the access to knowledge, resources, and support that we have here in WA.
We are very well placed indeed Alex. WA has provided us with a platform and formula to find success in this arena.
That being said I also like your point about applied knowledge. That's which choosing the right niche is important and following up with great content even more important.
Thanks for adding great value to my piece Alex.

It sure takes time, even if you are doing it full time, so imagine if you are doing it part time and also have a regular job to boot. thats why I set up a 1-2 year goal of growth- sprinkled with the occasional goodie here and there- it has allowed me not to stress out about anything while I put in that amount of work that I can.
Great post, Roberta 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Chris. You have said that from the get go - you know your commitments and what you can give to WA so you have your expectations set accordingly.
Notwithstanding that I do hope you hit your goals a lot sooner than planned. You continue to show dedication and commitment and I know it'll pay off for you.
Hope you have an awesome week my friend
Sooner will indeed be golden 🤣 an awesome week it is 🌞
