Happy Rememberance Day & Happy Veterans Day to my brothers
I find it really strange that I am not busy getting ready to head out to the local cenotaph for services this morning. It really saddens my heart to see services cancelled. My family and I will be remembering in our own way this year the sacrifices made by all who serve, past, present and future. God bless you all and your families.
This is my eldest son and I in KAF October 2009. He met me on the tarmac when I arrived, our tours overlapped and I am so proud to have served with my son. I also had another son who served with the reserves and our son-in-law is currently serving.
Needless to say we will never forget.
Thank you all for your service.
God bless.

Blessing back to you sir. There are many vets on WA and we all know of the sacrifices made in all conflicts at this time.
You are right about not being at the cenotaph although I did drive past our local point earlier today draped in French tricolor's of course.

That is a beautiful tribute Rick. Thank you for your service and thank your sons and son in law.
