Don't be to Quick to Jump to Conclusions
Last Update: Jan 9, 2023
My last blog was about YouTube demonetizing channels over their new rules, and that is true, so make sure you are aware of those changes.
However, I jumped to conclusions when I thought I was demonetized due to our hunting channel.Well, I'm here to let you know I was wrong. The monetization of the channel was on hold due to not connecting our channel with a payment method through the bank, plus I needed to upload some tax documents.
I know, I need to read my own headline here and make sure to take care of business, but this was a perfect example of jumping to conclusions, which also made me mad for part of the day.
Let's just say that was a waste of time and I continue to learn the lesson of reading carefully and making sure I take care of the business side of things.
I hope this has helped some of you to learn from my mistake.

These things happen to us all at times. At least you found out the answer and can rectify it.
Yep. This is still a learning process, especially in reading the fine print and making sure everything is taken care of on the business end.

Yah, but how many lives did I lose yesterday getting upset?
At least the important thing that got out is what YouTube is changing that will affect monetization.

Oh, you got the answers. At least it could have been a worst-case scenario for you. Thankfully, thats not the case. We all are imperfect humans. Sometimes, we make an oops—just part of life. I'm glad all is resolved for now.
Thanks. I'm glad I was wrong, at least about one part of the blog.
On the bright side, it gave me an idea about a good follow up blog.

Rick, I am sure you got it all sorted out. So put it in the back burner. It's all part of the learning curve.
You're exactly right. I have been re-focused today to organize some things for my websites and YouTube channels, then re-organized my office and have now created a new YouTube video and website article, plus I shot a new video that I need to edit in the next few days.
I can get worked up about things, but I normally can re-focus within 24 hours. Thanks for the advice.
