Task Management Tool
Hello All,
I was a notebook and pen kind of guy, using them to write down what I need to do. Then started to use word documents and spreadsheets for blog post ideas and so on. Then I discovered an online app called Notion and have recently started to try this out for managing content creation, calendars, and so on. The cool thing about it is you can use it completely for free no credit card needed either as a single user.
It gives the ability to create a database, Kanban board, content management calendar etc ... They also provide many templates as well to help, even has an AI to help you build a database if you wanted, its pretty cool.
From a search result:
" Why use Notion? Notion is often praised for its versatility and ability to replace multiple productivity tools. Users can leverage Notion for note-taking, task management, project planning, knowledge management, and more. It's a powerful tool for both individuals and teams looking to streamline their workflows and boost productivity. "
Luckily there are plenty of YouTube videos out there on how to use it as well to help with the learning curve of using another tool! Just thought to pass this on for anyone looking for another way to manage their projects.
Thanks

Hi Rich
Notion is very good despite slow and glitchy performance at times. I've been using it for about 5 years now.

5 years nice! I’ve just discovered it. I don’t have much experience with it. I’m hoping it will be the single pane if glass I can organize my content in
OK. If you need help anytime, feel free to ask. Via PM if you prefer. For a few days I'll have no internet (this is via 4g data). When I get internet back it'll be much easier.

Hi Rich,
The key to figuring out Notion is realising that the whole structure is built on relationships between pages. Everything is a page, even when it's a field in a table or data base.

Sounds great Rich!! All of these new tools seem wonderful... until they aren't!!
I'm old school and still use my trusty pen and paper for such activities!!
Enjoy a wonderful start to the weekend my friend! :-)
I still write all my ideas by hand. Often times, I'll get ideas while driving and I grab a pen and write my thoughts down on whatever's available such as a napkin or receipt.
I've heard good things about notion though.
Thanks for providing this information, I am going have check this out as always have multiple tabs pulled up going back and forth.
