Showing your website link on WA profile?

How do people feel about adding their website link to their WA Profile?

I do. I feel it just shows what I am about.

To tell you why I am writing this post, I asked for a review of my site yesterday through WA and got some very direct feedback. The lady who wrote the review did mention some positive things which was great, but also some negative things that gave me much food for thought.

I quote,

"Are you aware that your ad "Build a Free Website Here" doesn't work?"

It does, the link goes straight to Kyles Page on WA where he builds the site.

"It's all a bit impersonal, your name isn't mentioned once and you don't have an "about me" page. People like to know who is the face behind the site, makes it seem more trustworthy"

Agreed, there is not an About Me page, but I mention myself and my name through several of the posts, with my full story of how I got here.

"I have to say that your grammar is dreadful, practically every sentance has a mistake in it. I guess you are trying to be chatty and friendly, but it doesnt look very proffesional"

This surprised me, but I will look at my writing and see where I can improve. My Reviewer is a proofreader and freelance web writer, so I take her word seriously.

I think it would have been nice of her to actually mention some of the sentances and tell me how they should be written? in the true spirit of pay it forward on WA? but there you go.

Anyway, each to their own. Now getting back to my point. I looked at the profile of my Reviewer and I can see she joined WA in December 18, has written 2 posts on WA and does not include her website.

It would have been really helpful for me to see her website, and learn how a true professional does it?
