Double downing on what works in content creation!
The way I handle writing content has changed a lot over the years.
I used to write about all kinds of topics as long as the competition was low for the target keyword.
Nowadays I take a more strategic approach.
I remember reading this article from Brian Dean talking about what I remember he called Ghost posts.
He'd make basically MVP (Minimal Viable Product) posts which are very simple posts that don't take a lot of time to make.
If Google reacted in a good way to them he'd start to invest.
That got me thinking:
"...why not do the same thing with the types of content you put out?..."
So nowadays I make 3 posts in the same category which are very similar and wait a month to see if Google reacts to it.
If it starts getting some impressions and clicks I start doubling down on that specific content type and make as much of it as possible.
It might be obvious for some but I wish someone told me this when I started.
So I hope this information helps someone in the same way it helped me.
