Dealing with distractions.

I made a comment to a member of the community that I was trying to get back on track, well I am, and I will. There are things that happen in life that you have no choice but to deal with them. I've been researching for an article that I vowed would be my best, I've been following and trying to digest all the tutorials that involves writing good content and presenting it in a way that my audience would enjoy and not tire of. I am still learning basic computer skills and have to sometime do things the old fashion way, taking lots of notes, bookmarking and such. I gave myself a good talking to. My involvement in the community, the quick response I get when I holler for help, the encouragement given in daily doses and the honesty of those who have been involved with WA for a good amount of time, has made me a believer. They let you know straight up that there is no such thing as a get rich quick thing, they let you know that yes, you can be a success here, but just as we've been told all our lives, you must put in time and effort, be determined and stay focused. Well I had a very disturbing distraction, the sudden death of a friend who I saw, happy, appeared healthy, and was blessed to have a good fellowship with the night before she passed. Can you say STUNNED? Yes I was indeed. This is what prompted me to write this blog instead of my article. I could not get my thoughts together for my article, so I decided to write this blog. In writing this blog, I feel I am still moving forward. My point is, there are going to be distractions, if they prevent you from doing what you had planned, do something else that is taking you in the same direction. I couldn't get it together to write my article, but writing this blog has made me feel better as well as helping me achieve my goal here at WA.

Hi, life can be very punishing at times. You must rise above this and no doubt you will. Determination will see through to becoming successful. Irv.

Honesty very important.. life is hard...Stay focused but take your time

A good friend of mine died very recently and so I can understand how you feel. All you can do is take a little break, regroup and then try and make your life as good as possible - that's what your friend would have wanted :)

I'm so sorry for your loss. Perfectly understandable that you are distracted right now and that's okay. Take all the time you need.

My deepest sympathy. A few years ago, a dear friend of mine passed away. So I know the pain of losing a close friend.

Reading blogs like yours remind me that it is not all about the money. It is about caring and serving others. And sometimes, it is about comforting others and comforting ourselves. I hope you find your way, through your grieving and may you find comfort and hope.

You have my deepest sympathy, take care.

Hi Rowena, So sorry to hear about the sudden death of you friend. Writing this blog is a release and thank you for sharing your journey.
You are right to accept that you need to be in the zone to write your blog, however remember that you can write a good content if you write from your heart, just like this one. Best wishes. Chuka

Writing a blog can get creative mental energies going that can drown distractions.
