Introducing My New Writer

Well, I've finally done it. Gone and hire me a writer. Since I am neither particularly fond of writing nor very good at it, it only makes sense to outsource some writing tasks to someone more accomplished.

As I began to delve into the possibilities of hiring a writer, I was having some difficulty finding one that resonates with me and my writing style. Maybe you recognize some of this wording. But, I assure you, this is my human writing.

This is the first time in my 60 + years on the planet that I have ever used the word "delve", either written or spoken. And, except for perhaps my college physics classes, the first time to use the word "resonate" in any of its forms. Welcome to the world of AI, and it's only just begun.

Trying to Keep Up in The Age of AI

Artificial Intelligence is here, and it is here to stay. I don't care what niche you are in, there are competitors out there cranking out AI content by the 10's, and sometimes 100's, of articles per day.

I know, I know, some of you are determined that 100% human content will win the day. Good luck with that. Google didn't invest nearly half a billion dollars into AI to not promote its use. ;) It has even infiltrated Google Search.

Trying to keep up with this mass of content that's flooding the internet, you need help, or you need to spend 27 hours a day writing. Or, you could hire some help. There are places like Fiverr, Upwork, and others where you can outsource some of your writing tasks.

But, guess what, even though they may be "human" writers, you can bet that they are using AI to at the very least, help with the writing. Now, I am not against AI. I find it to be much more efficient and proficient than myself. Like I said earlier, I am not very good at writing, nor do I enjoy it.

However, AI written content, as good as it may be, just doesn't sound like me. I don't write that way, and I certainly don't talk that way. So, my audience begins to suspect that I am not the one writing the articles. And, I know, there are some AI models that you can prompt with examples to get them to write more in "your style". But even then, it's still not 100%.

I have, what I think is, a viable solution to the problem. And, it's available to all members here at Wealthy Affiliate. It resides within the AI content writer. Create your own "imaginary" writer. ;)

If You Don't Have a Writer - Make One Up

It's a simple matter to add an author to your website. Use AI tools to generate a Gravator image for them, and even use AI to produce a bio for your new "author". Now, you don't have to spend so much time trying to make AI content sound like "You", because it's not you, it's your new Writer.

And, this writer requires no salary, vacation, sick days, or constant oversight. Of course you still need to review AI generated content, but no longer do I need to worry that the articles don't sound like me, because they aren't, and everybody knows it upfront.

Meet My New Writer - Buck

Buck Necked is my new outdoor writer for my DIY Outdoorsmen blog. After a short career in the adult film industry, Buck found the work hard, and it left him feeling drained. He decided to retire from film and return to his first love, the outdoors.

Hey he's my imaginary writer, I can give him whatever background I want. ;) Ok, yes this is all a bit tongue in cheek, but it is a potential solution to using AI to create content. Keep up with your competition, and to reduce the need to rewrite the content to sound like your voice and style.

So far, Buck's writing ranks better than my human written content. Says a lot about Buck, not so much about me. :)
