Just thought I would jot down my thoughts on the certification training at the end of course 2.
My website is live and i have got a handful of posts and a handful of pages without drama.
Some of the major learnings for me so far have been
- don't aim for perfection, just get it somewhat OK and get it out there
- choose a niche you know about or want to spend a lot of time researching
- building a website with wordpress is easier than most things i have to do on a daily basis
- the community approach within WA helps a hell of a lot when starting up. Comments and feedback from peers is vital to getting that kickstart you need
- giving feedback on other peoples sites is quite inspiring & educational, some of you are making amazing sites out there
- I should have done this decades ago
- the site content editor could really use a synonym search function just like ms word has.
