I am putting together a step-by-step content development structure so my team and I can follow. Is this a good structure? Do you guys have any suggestions?
Looks pretty good. I would use the 100/100 formula for keywords and only use one keyword or phrase a post. Put it in the title and first paragraph, and then just write naturally.
I would also use fetch as Google and submit the post or article to Bing immediately after you publish it, then off to social.
Hope that helps :)
Thanks Shawn! The 100/100 formula you are talking about is this one?
"When calculating the density of a keyword phrase, the formula would be (Nkr*Nwp/Tkn)*100}, where Nwp is the number of words in the phrase. So, for example, for a four-hundred word page about search engine optimization where "search engine optimization" is used four times, the keyword phrase density is (4*3/400)*100 or 3 percent."
-Wikipedia
The keyword density should be in between 1% to 3%, correct?
In regards to fetching, this can be done via Google's Webmaster Tools, right?
Cheers!

last first, yes, Google Webmaster tools. As far as the density, I use it once in the title and once in the first paragraph. Most of the density info out there is all outdated. The 100/100 means 100 searches per month and 100 competition or less. That help?

I like the overall look of your strategy and would agree with Shawn on SEO concentration.
Also it should not be forgotten that the world's 4th largest search engine is Yandex and I would certainly include it in the mix.
